The speed of manufacturing in Kabul factories has declined by as much as 50 p.c attributable to elevated electrical energy outages, the Chamber of Commerce and Funding mentioned.

Khan Jan Alokozay, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Funding, mentioned that manufacturing in some factories declined by as a lot as 75 p.c.

Kabul residents are additionally involved about elevated energy outages in latest weeks.

“We can not warmth water. We can not learn. We have now electrical energy just for one hour within the night and one within the morning,” mentioned Bahar, a Kabul resident.
