WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), co-chair of the Abraham Accords Caucus and member of the Senate Armed Companies Committee, is main her caucus co-chairs in pushing the State Division to facilitate interfaith dialogue between Abraham Accords member international locations.
Ernst is joined by fellow Abraham Accords Caucus Co-Chairs Senators Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Representatives Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Brad Schneider (D-Ailing.), David Trone (D-Md.), Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) in a letter to the U.S. Ambassador-at-Massive for Worldwide Non secular Freedom, Rashad Hussain, urging him to extend alternatives for interfaith and intercultural dialogue within the area.
“The Abraham Accords have the potential to anchor Center Jap safety cooperation, financial prosperity, and cultural change grounded in mutual understanding,” the letter said. “Particularly, elevated interfaith dialogue will additional diplomatic, cultural, and financial cooperation between the various peoples of the area.”
The letter continues, “The second paragraph of the Abraham Accords Declaration, signed by the USA, states ‘we encourage efforts to advertise interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance a tradition of peace among the many three Abrahamic religions and all humanity.’ We ask you to decide to placing this declaration into observe by supporting interfaith dialogue packages inside signatory and potential signatory international locations of the Abraham Accords.”
