
The Kansas Metropolis Royals on Saturday activated Brad Keller from the 60-day injured checklist after the right-hander recovered from a proper shoulder impingement.
Keller final pitched for the Royals on Might 15, permitting three hits, eight walks and three runs (two earned) in a 4-0 loss on the San Diego Padres. He went on the 15-day IL and was transferred to the 60-day IL on Aug. 16. This season, he’s 3-4 with a 4.36 ERA, 40 walks and 31 strikeouts in 43 1/3 innings over 9 begins.
