Beirut [Lebanon], Jan 16 (Sputnik/ANI): At the least 35 folks have been injured in violent clashes between police and protestors close to the Russian Embassy in Lebanon’s capital Beirut, the Lebanese Crimson Cross stated.
On late Wednesday, Sputnik reported that the clashes erupted close to the Russian diplomatic mission within the metropolis. The embassy’s press service informed the outlet that no staff of the diplomatic mission was injured within the incident.
“As for the second, 35 folks have been injured they usually have been hospitalised. Ten folks obtained help on the web site,” the Crimson Cross stated in a press release on late Wednesday.
