Blumhouse Productions CEO and founder Jason Blum has revealed that The Exorcist: Believer launch date has been moved up.

In a tweet made on August 31, Blum introduced that The Exorcist: Believer has had its premiere date moved up from Friday, October 13 to Friday, October 6. The announcement was adopted by the joking hashtag “#TaylorWins,” referencing how Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour may also be taking part in in theaters on October 13.
The Exorcist: Believer serves as a direct sequel to the unique horror characteristic, which was tailored from William Peter Blatty’s novel. Inexperienced is directing from a screenplay he’s co-writing with Scott Teems, Danny McBride, and Peter Sattler. Becoming a member of Burstyn are Leslie Odom Jr, Ann Dowd, Raphael Sbarge, and Jennifer Nettles with newcomers Lidya Jewett and Olivia Marcum.
