Washington DC [USA], Oct 8 (ANI): US President Donald Trump on Tuesday reiterated his warning to Turkey stating that the US will destroy Turkish economic system if Ankara’s deliberate navy incursion into northeast Syria went too far with any “unforced or pointless combating.”
“Turkey already has a big Kurdish inhabitants and absolutely understands that whereas we solely had 50 troopers remaining in that part of Syria, and so they have been eliminated, any unforced or pointless combating by Turkey shall be devastating to their economic system and to their very fragile foreign money,” Trump wrote in a tweet.
In one other tweet, the US President prolonged help to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces. “We could also be within the means of leaving Syria, however under no circumstances have we deserted the Kurds, who’re particular individuals and great fighters. This comes after Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay on Tuesday acknowledged that Ankara won’t yield to threats over its plans to stage a navy operation in Syria.
