Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal has been severely criticised for endorsing a Twitter deal with that has been dubbed as misogynistic. On Wednesday, Mr Bansal advisable the deal with @LifeMathMoney to “all males on Twitter”.

“He’ll educate you a lot issues it’s worthwhile to know,” the 38-year-old tweeted, including that girls might observe the Twitter account “if they need”.

LifeMathMoney is a Twitter account with over 97,000 followers. Tweets from the account embrace sexist and offensive posts like “Males are taller and stronger than ladies” and “Fairly women really feel everybody is useful and life is simple whereas ugly women really feel like males.”

Mr Bansal’s tweet triggered a backlash on the microblogging website.

A consumer compiled screenshots of LifeMathMoney’s offensive tweets and shared them with Mr Bansal.

“Are you severely recommending this account? That is absolute misogyny in lots of tweets,” writer Kiran Manral questioned.

“Unsure what the final sentence meant, Sachin. And the tweets from that account are fairly misogynistic. Is that one thing to be discovered too?” one other Twitter consumer commented.

“The best way it is worded makes it clear he *is aware of* that that account tweets sexist, misogynistic and but he felt the necessity to endorse it,” a 3rd wrote.

Many others additionally questioned why Mr Bansal addressed women and men individually in his tweet.

Sachin Bansal exited Flipkart when Walmart purchased controlling stake (77 per cent) in it for a whopping $16 billion on Could 9, 2018. He later bought his 5.5 per cent stake in Flipkart for $1 billion.
