Trump Would Prefer to Be an ‘Authoritarian Chief’


Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, mentioned Monday on CNN’s “The Lead” that Donald Trump want to be an “authoritarian chief.”

Christie mentioned, “I believe what we’ve got is a Donald Trump downside. Proper now, what’s gone on is that folks view Donald Trump synonymously with the Republican Get together and that in case you oppose Trump, that’s someway favoring Biden. Many Republicans don’t need to try this for very apparent causes.”

He continued, “I believe that that’s why we have to have this full debate and dialogue that we simply actually began on Wednesday night time, about who must be main our social gathering and who must be main our nation. And I’ve mentioned very clearly on the authoritarian aspect of issues, that is Donald Trump’s downside, not the Republican Get together’s downside.”
