MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill stated Tuesday on “Deadline” that she was “very completely happy” former New York Metropolis Mayor Rudy Giuliani was indicted in Georgia for his actions after the 2020 presidential election.
McCaskill stated, “It is a story of two very completely different indictments. We have now one within the federal system that’s lean and imply and focused on the boss. After which we now have Georgia, the place this prosecutor has determined that she must go after the entire enterprise and all of this proof would are available. The entire barrel of unhealthy apples bought indicted. You may’t assume within the federal indictment that these un-indicted co-conspirators might or might not cooperate, might or might not be charged. You simply don’t know at this level.”
She continued, “However, in Georgia since she indicted so many, you may assume a good variety of these un-indicted co-conspirators have cooperated and testified in entrance of the grand jury honestly. They didn’t take the Fifth. I believe the faux electors, there was numerous speak of them getting immunity.”
She added, “I’m unsure how quickly it’s a must to inform individuals got immunity. Immunity could be very easy. it simply says we gained’t prosecute you for what you say so long as you inform the reality for the crimes that you’re testifying about. And so it’s a must to assume there’s going to be much more proof.”
McCaskill concluded, “The excellent news is we lastly have Rudy Giuliani indicted. Whoo-hoo! That makes me very completely happy.”
