The ministry of data and broadcasting on Monday issued instructions to dam a web site, two cellular functions, 4 social media accounts and one good TV app of Pakistan-based excessive (OTT) platform Vidly TV, senior adviser to the ministry Kanchan Gupta stated.

“Ministry of Data and Broadcasting, utilizing emergency powers below IT Guidelines 2021, has issued instructions on December 12, 2022 for the rapid blocking of the web site, two cellular apps, 4 social media accounts, and one good TV app of Pakistan-based OTT Platform Vidly TV,” Gupta stated in a tweet.

The OTT platform had not too long ago launched a web-series titled ‘Sevak: The Confessions’, which was discovered to be detrimental to nationwide safety, sovereignty and integrity, defence of India, safety of the state, India’s pleasant relations with overseas states, and public order within the nation, Gupta stated, including three episodes of the sequence have already been launched up to now.
