For the primary time in his MLB profession, Pete Alonso rolled into New York Metropolis as a part of a visiting workforce.
Solely, on Friday, he wasn’t headed to his outdated Citi Discipline stomping grounds; he was headed to the Bronx as he and his Baltimore Orioles teammates took on the New York Yankees.

The Baltimore first baseman was requested about his feelings when he arrived again on the town, and he went proper to bagging on the site visitors.
“We flew into Newark, after which, I am like, ‘We’re positively again as a result of we hit an unbearable wall of site visitors,'” Alonso instructed SNY. “So it was positively (like), ‘Yeah, alright, we’re right here. Alonso, who began his profession with the Mets in 2019, mentioned it was nice to be again and to go down reminiscence lane.
And talking of reminiscence lane, Alonso probably had followers pondering again to his rookie season, when he crushed 53 house runs, together with his efficiency on this one.
