A suspect was arrested after allegedly breaking into the house of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass “by way of a window” on Sunday morning.
Deputy Mayor of Communications, Zach Seidl issued an announcement confirming {that a} break-in had occurred round 6:40 a.m., including that the mayor and her household are “protected” and had not suffered any accidents.
“This morning at about 6:40 AM, an intruder broke into Getty Home by way of a window,” Seidl wrote in his assertion. “Mayor Bass and her household weren’t injured and are protected. The Mayor is grateful to LAPD for responding and arresting the suspect.”

Capt. Kelly Muniz, the chief spokeswoman with the Los Angeles Police Division (LAPD) instructed the Los Angeles Instances that the unidentified suspect was being processed within the afternoon, including that it could be just a few hours till she might launch extra info relating to the arrest.
Muniz confirmed that Bass had been residence and that nothing had been stolen.
Bass’s residence was damaged into in September 2022, and the then-mayoral candidate revealed that two weapons had been stolen from the residence.
